Families Day at RAF Valley is a great opportunity for the Ascent team to spend time with military and civilian colleagues, share some of the amazing things we do at UKMFTS, and celebrate those who keep things moving as part of RAF Valley Whole Force.
It’s an event dedicated to recognising the people, families and partnerships that contribute to the success of the station every day.
This year we also cheered on staff who took part in the flying programme – including members of Team Raven, the world’s biggest civilian aerobatic display team – as they entertained the crowds. Their involvement showcased not only their exceptional flying skills, but also the wealth of aviation experience that exists within Ascent.
Throughout the day, families enjoyed meeting colleagues, exploring the station environment and gaining a greater understanding of the important work carried out across RAF Valley – a community built on teamwork, dedication and mutual support.
Events such as Families Day remind us that success is underpinned by the families and friends who support us and the close ties we have built with our customers and suppliers, that enable us to provide excellence in our training programmes.
