We are proud to providing training that helps lifesavers do their jobs and were delighted to welcome a team from Bristow Helicopters to RAF Shawbury.
The three-week cadet winch ground school course was designed specifically for Bristow’s search and rescue teams and delivered by Ascent’s Qualified Instructors.
The course provides a crucial foundation in aviation theory for paramedics’ flying careers in airborne search and rescue. It aims to help those involved in lifesaving operations work together safely, effectively and seamlessly, using the right technical language and knowledge, to perform to the highest standards.
