Tim was appointed Managing Director of Ascent Flight Training in November 2018 and has over 20 years’ experience in the Aerospace and Defence sector, including senior industry and military roles. As Managing Director, Tim has direct responsibility for Ascent’s 420+ direct employees and operations involving 110+ aircraft and 100+ simulators across six UK sites.
Tim joined Ascent from Lockheed Martin, where he was UK Strategy and Business Development Director for Rotary and Mission Systems, covering a broad portfolio of commercial and government programmes. He enjoyed a 16-year Royal Air Force career as a pilot, which involved UK operations on the Tornado F3 and exchange operations on the F-16 with the United States Air Force and the Royal Air Force of Oman.
