Shawbury General Manager, Simon Vorley, presented Operations Officers, Damian O’Brien and Rebecca Gordon with their Level 3 Team Leader / Supervisor Apprenticeship certificates following 18 months study as part of Ascent’s Transformational Leadership Programme.
Delivered by Future Talent Learning, the programme is a structured, immersive, and highly experiential learning programme that empowers learners with the human and interpersonal skills, as well as an agile mindset, needed to thrive in the changing world of work.
Damian and Rebecca have developed behaviours and skills that are vital to ensure that Ascent can continue to embrace the constant changes that we see across the environments in which we operate, along with an understanding of what is expected as a leader.
Being able to immediately apply and practice these skills in their roles will further aid their development and to reach their full potential.
Simon Vorley, said: ”It is a pleasure to present the apprenticeship certificates today to Damian and Rebecca and to recognise the dedication to their studies alongside their continued support to 1FTS.
“We have a key role in supporting apprenticeships and this provides us with an opportunity to share in the success this reflects for them and the business.”
