Ascent is part of a complex Public-Private Partnership arrangement contracted to deliver a world class Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS) for the Armed Forces until 2033.
Our Partnership
The following diagram shows the organisations involved in the delivery of UKMFTS, which is a unique partnering arrangement with RAF 22 Group, and Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S), the MOD’s procurement agency.
In addition, Ascent works with a number of supplier partners who are responsible for services such as providing and maintaining aircraft, ground-based simulators, facilities support and IT.
We are a 50/50 joint venture owned by Babcock and Lockheed Martin.
