Huge congratulations to our team members across the business who have been outstanding in 2025, and have received a coveted General Manager (GM) or Training Hub Award.

Valley – Neil Reilly, FJ Scheduling Mngr

Valley GM, Andy Cooper, said: “Neil has been with us for 18 months in which time he has embedded himself within the FJ Training enterprise with excellence and fully demonstrates our core values and beliefs.”

Shawbury (Rotary Wing) – Paul ‘Chalky’ White, QHI

Lesley Still, Rotary Wing GM, said: “This year’s General Manager’s Award goes to someone who consistently goes above and beyond, not only excelling in his primary duties but also taking on extra projects like he’s collecting them for fun.”

Cranwell – Megan Cocker, Business Co-ordinator

Cranwell GM, Darren Arch, said: “Megan is a genuine force multiplier. Being ‘front of house’ is never easy, yet she is never too busy to help, with her default setting being to ‘fix problems’ rather than fob them off or file them away. Megan is a delight to work alongside. She is hardworking and a dedicated team player, always willing to dig a little deeper when needed.”

Culdrose – Simon Jose, Operations Scheduler

Culdrose GM, John Bramwell said: “My pick for the GM Award is Simon Jose. He has been instrumental in helping with the ATOMS project and has been making company-wide headway as Diversity Inclusion & Belonging chairperson.”

Training Hub – Liz Howells, Office Manager

And finally, huge thanks to Liz Howells, who is the recipient of the inaugural Training Hub Award 2025.

Liz’s win reflects her outstanding work as Executive Administrator, Training Hub Office Manager, our new safeguarding lead, and the leader of our work experience projects – and for exemplifying many of Ascent’s Cultural Values.
