We are delighted to share that Ascent is now supporting the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) and its work with veterans, through sponsorship of its annual RAFA Rides cycle event.
For more than 90 years, RAFA has championed a simple belief – that no member of the RAF community should ever be left without the help that they need. The association, and its host of volunteers, help people with welfare needs, crisis issues, loneliness and isolation and through a myriad of other often small ways that can make a huge difference to quality of life for veterans and their families.
Joining AirTanker, Boeing, PLEXSYS, Serco Brize Norton and Top Aces, Ascent has pledged our support for RAFA Rides 2026 as bronze sponsors.
RAFA Rides unites thousands of riders around the world for an unforgettable season of cycling, fitness and fun. See highlights from 2025 on YouTube here. Participants can choose from route options of 12, 25, 50, 75 and 100 miles at each RAFA Rides event, which will take place on the following dates:
- RAF Marham – Saturday 6 June
- Kendrew Barracks – Saturday 13 June
- RAF Brize Norton – Saturday 20 June
- RAF Leeming – Saturday 27 June
Or, for those who prefer to do their own thing, RAFA Rides Your Way is the flexible option, designed for participants who want to join, even on a static bike, from anywhere in the world.
