Jayne celebrates 3,000 flying hours
Congratulations to Ascent’s Jayne Green, who is celebrating after reaching 3,000 flying hours. Jayne, a BFT Qualified Observer Instructor at RNAS Culdrose, teaches trainee RN Observers and RAF Weapons Systems Officers navigation and tactical skills, both airborne in the Avenger and on the ground in the Tactical Mission Trainer.
Before joining Ascent, Jayne spent 20 years in the Royal Navy, flying and instructing on Lynx helicopters and conducting training in HM Ships. She celebrated reaching the 3,000 hours milestone with the Culdrose team, receiving a bottle of bubbly from Ascent GM, John Bramwell.
John said: “It was a great pleasure to mark the occasion of Jayne’s 3,000 flying hours in the appropriate way and even better that we did so with our trainees witnessing the event, in what hopefully inspired them to think forward beyond success in flying training to the point where they themselves achieve this considerable milestone.”
