Full Course Capability achieved through Industry Partnering

Air Marshal Gerry Mayhew met with Tim James, Ascent Managing Director; Neal Misell, Chief Executive Aviation at Babcock International Group and Paul Livingston, Chief Executive UK at Lockheed Martin at DSEI to recognise the industry partnering approach in achieving the significant Full Course Capability (FCC) milestone for UKMFTS.

The Full Course Capability milestone for both Fixed and Rotary Wing programmes represents a fantastic achievement for the Whole Force team of Military, DE&S and Industry partners.
600 students are now graduating annually across a wide spectrum of UKMFTS aircrew courses. The programme operates 110 aircraft of 7 types across six UK sites.

Tim James, Ascent Managing Director said:
“Ascent is proud to be part of UKMFTS, providing the UK MOD with the aircrew needed to support their Front Line forces. Looking to the future, we are working together to continue to innovate in the ways we train the next generation of aircrew.”
