Former scheduler flying high

A former member of Ascent’s scheduling team at RAF Valley has been awarded the Central Flying School (CFS) Cup.

Ben Hull arrived at RAF Cranwell with no practical experience of either the military flying training environment or airborne IT and put his heart and soul into the Prefect QFI course.

The CFS Cup is awarded annually to the B2 QFI who exemplifies the ethos of CFS and Ben’s dedication and professionalism, along with a solid work ethic and good pair of hands in the cockpit, made him the perfect choice.

“Capt Hull is not only an outstanding ambassador for Ascent but also embodies all the best traditions of the Central Flying School,” said Ascent QFI, Nicholas Riddin.
