The facility is for rear crew training and assessment prior to further training courses or entry to Operational Conversion Units. The primary purpose of the unit is to teach navigation techniques and airmanship behaviours, including maritime tactical sortie profiles, on the Beechcraft King Air 350 and a tactical mission training simulator.
