As a Qualified Helicopter Crewman Instructor you will train ab-initio and refresher crewmen in both an airborne and synthetic environment, including Flying Training Devices and Part Task Trainers.

Reporting to the Business Finance Manager this position co-ordinates the contract and management finance reporting (including any associated bank reporting and compliance) of the Ascent programme This role also provides support to the programme and commercial managers in actuals review, forecast, budget and full contract estimate to completion (ETC) production as well as in their key decision making process.

The Qualified Flying Instructor within the Elementary Flying Training Programme will play a key role in the service delvery of this programme at RAF Cranwell and RAF Barkston Heath, as part of the overall UKMTS Programme.

King Air 350ER Pilot for Ascent’s Rear Crew training facility at RNAS Culdrose, Cornwall, UK. The facility is for rear crew training and assessment prior to further training courses or entry to Operational Conversion Units. The primary purpose of the unit is to teach navigation techniques and airmanship behaviours, including maritime tactical sortie profiles, on the Beechcraft King Air 350 and a tactical mission training simulator.

As an SDSR Commercial Officer you will be instrumental in the delivery of commercial and legal services in a timely manner to support the SDSR programme. Specifically this will involve the procurement and implementation of Fixed Wing and Rotary Wing contract amendments, and protection of Ascent’s interests by ensuring that legal and contractual obligations are met, whilst also enforcing legal and contractual rights.

This position co-ordinates the finance element of bid proposals, approvals, reporting and invoicing (Notices or Changes, Additional Design Tasks and new business opportunities), providing support to the Capability team in production of proposals, actuals review, forecast, budget and monitoring actual resources to completion as well as in their key decision making process. Also supporting and working with other functions within the Finance department in all associated financial transactions

This role is responsible for establishing a credible and deliverable RPAS Sensor Operator Training System Design that meets the customer requirements and for the instructional design and development effort required to produce the UKMFTS RPAS Sensor Operator curriculum.

The PMO role will be to support a small group of programme/project managers in the co-ordination, organisation and control of their programmes/projects.
