A joint team from the UKMFTS is set to conduct a series of presentations to UKMFTS Stakeholders throughout September and October 2014. The aim of the Roadshow is to give the audience an update on what the UKMFTS does and how it has evolved since contract award in 2008. With so much work currently ongoing in the UKMFTS pipeline – Fixed Wing Main Gate submission for Elementary Flying Training, Basic Flying Training and Multi Engine Flying Training due shortly and Rotary Wing engagement with Industry underway – now is the right time to brief the UKMFTS’s colleagues from across the Training System and Front Line aviation community. Included will also be a brief on the Committed Programmes – Fast Jet Phase IV and Rear Crew Stage 1. The Roadshow starts in early September at RAF Valley and includes, RAF Odiham, RAF Benson, RAF Cranwell, RAF Barkston Heath, AAC Middle Wallop, the Joint Helicopter Command, RAF Linton, RNAS Yeovilton, the Commando Helicopter Force, FOST (South), RAF Shawbury and the Defence Helicopter Flying School. The Roadshow concludes at RNAS Culdrose in early October and there is an aspiration to conduct further Road shows to Frontline units in early 2015.
