A day in the life of an Ascent Regional HR & Recruitment Advisor (Maternity Cover)
As Regional HR & Recruitment Advisor, you will be part of a dedicated HR Team who are based from the Bristol Hub. You will be providing HR support based from RAF Shawbury with extensive travel to RAF Valley and our other sites as required. You will be providing professional and confident HR advice, support and administration service across the full range of HR activity; employee relations issues, HR queries, recruitment, terms and conditions and policies and procedures.
You will work closely with local trade union reps to build constructive relationships that support and deliver the HR agenda, together with working to support cultural change through guidance and advice to line managers to ensure they own their people issues. You will build strong relationships with line managers across all areas of the business and have the opportunity to experience both our operating sites and headquarters. What will make you successful?
You will already have a breadth of experience within a HR Advisor position, having confidently managed complex employee relations issues combined with providing excellent generalist HR advice across all levels of an organisation. You will thrive when working with stakeholders, coupled with your ability to truly understand our business and apply this to your role in HR.
You will love working in an environment where efficient, tailored solutions are the answer, being able to navigate both yourself and stakeholders to a positive outcome in line with company policies. You will hold CIPD level 5 qualification (or equivalent) and have a genuine desire to remain up to date with ever changing employment law.
