Another milestone in the UK Military Training System (UKMFTS) was achieved on Friday 23 August, with the graduation of the first 13 pilots to complete their training within the Rotary Wing programme. This was recognised in a ceremony held at the Defence Helicopter Flying School (DHFS), RAF Shawbury. The event also celebrated the graduation of 9 helicopter Rearcrew.
It was truly a tri-Service celebration, and marked yet another important milestone within the UKMFTS, the declaration of Interim Course Capability (ICC) by the Reviewing Officer Air Marshal Andrew Turner, Deputy Commander Royal Air Force.
We congratulate all the aircrew on their achievements, and wish them every success in their future careers.
