We are proud to announce that in October 2010, Ascent, working with MFTS PT and 22 Training Group, achieved PAS11000 – a collaborative relationship award. We are one of the first organizations to achieve this level of recognition worldwide.
The award acknowledges the success achieved to date in establishing a framework around which Ascent, MFTS PT and 22 Training Group are developing their partnering relationship. The process of evaluation sought evidence that joint processes and behaviours, critical to the successful collaborative relationships, have been implemented and are being operated to.
The aim of this award is to provide a framework to help establish and improve partnering relationships. It not only addresses the processes that need to be incorporated into collaborative relationships to help them become more effective, but also highlights the importance of strong partnering relationships . We all recognise that both of these elements are fundamental to our joint success. Other benefits include reduced costs, reduced timescales for delivery of milestones and better quality services and products.
We recognise that this award, and the processes that we have put in place to support collaborative working, is purely a foundation for successful partnering. We now need to continue to embed and develop these further, continually reflecting on our experiences and learning.
PAS11000 is being elevated to a full BSI Standard (BS11000) in December of this year . Our plan is convert our award into this standard.
